Elivia with her new cousin Jaymz!

Ok so my sister Sarah had her precious baby Jaymz on March 20th. He weighed in at 7 lbs 2 oz and was 19 inches long. When Elivia was born she was 19 1/2 inches long and 8 lbs 5 oz. It was sad for me to hold Jaymz because it made me realise how big Elivia is getting. She was almost 13 lbs at her 2 month check up and she is now almost 3 months!! So anyways, naturally it was time for a Grandma Peggy Photo Shoot! I personally think she has a little too much fun with her grandbabies!

Here are a few of my favorites.....

Ahh...here is a little baby Jaymz smile for you!

His feet are seriously as long as hers! He's going to be tall!Ok so working with two new babies is no piece of cake! First Elivia wouldn't cooperate!
And then Jaymz got hungry!Well, they both got fed and then Elivia was tired and cranky....
And then she finally dozed off!How precious!!! There really isn't much of Jaymz under her so it kind of shows you their size difference. His legs are tucked under him.
Ok, so here are a few of mommy baby pictures!

Mommy Sarah with brand new baby Jaymz!

Mommy Sarah with 5 day old Jaymz
Mommy Traci with 11 week old Elivia.....*sniff* .....how time flies...*sniff*She likes eating her foot. She thought that it was funny! I love this one!
Here is the proud great Grandparents of the two cousins!

Hmmm....funny face Elivia!
Here are the four of them together!
Well, hope you all are having a great day!!

My poor baby girl... :(

Yesterday was Elivia's 2 month wellness check up. With that she got 3 virus shots in the thigh and she was not a happy camper. She cried so HARD that it made mommy cry. I finally got her settled down and she was ok for about 3 hours. We went grocery shopping and when we got home I took her out of her car seat and she started crying hard again. You could tell that she was in pain and it was so sad. I held her for about 45 minutes and if I moved her legs she would start crying again! It was so sad. I got her to sleep at about 10:30pm (which is early for her) and she slept till 7:30am (9 1/2 hours!!!) and then I fed her and she went back to sleep at about 8am and slept till about 12, which again I fed her and she went back to sleep and is still sleeping which it's now 3:45ish! All those shots really wore her out!
This is where she is currently STILL sleeping! My precious little angel!

Now if this doesn't make you smile....

I don't know what else will. No, but really? How stinkin cute are these!?!
I think this is one of the biggest smiles I have gotten out of her yet. The next best thing would be a giggle with it!

Enjoy!

I like big trucks and I can not lie?!

Ok, so while I was at my sister Sarah's baby shower, my husband got a little carried away with all the trucks that are parked at our house. Two of them now belong to Elliott, Eli's little brother who is a Marine serving in Iraq, hence the Marine flag. So these pictures were mainly for him. The one in the middle, we just bought and the outside one's are Elliott's. Notice Annie.....
Hope ya'll are having a good Saturday!

A brief view into Elivia's past 7 weeks of life!

So I am just going to do a little catch up on Elivia's life and then I will start blogging more updated things.

This was with Daddy when she was 4 days old. She is a major cuddler! This was her first sunday. She was 10 days old, and she couldn't take her eyes off of Daddy's pink tie! Thank you Aunt Lindsey for the tie from your Enlgand London Mission!
Her changing table is right next to the window and she loves starring out at the bright sky!
2 weeks old...
I caught her sleeping like this. Sooo cute!

Daddy got her ready for bed and then wrapped her up like a burrito! She wasn't sure what to think about it!
Well,......Daddy was cutting a cucumber and for some reason??.....one of the ends managed to get on her head......! And no, it wasn't me!

What a look! 3 weeks old...

One of her first tummy times. It was so much effort her tongue is even sticking out! 4 weeks old....
Yes, this is how Daddy changes diapers. Just be glad it's her pants and not her diaper on her head!!She doesn't seem to mind. In fact if she is being cranky it even calms her down because she is trying to look at it! It's quite funny!
Daddy put her in bed and couldn't find a blanket handy so he used 2 burp clothes to cover her up. The blanket you see, is underneath her. He is just soooo resourceful! 5 weeks old...Such a cutie! 6 weeks old....Ok, so I was getting her dressed and thought that her diaper hanging out of this onesie was so cute, I just had to take a picture.Look at how well she is holding her head up! She loves getting changed into new outfits!"Thank you Grandma Peggy for my colorful sweater!"

So cute!! 7 weeks old...Ugh! So Daddy thought that it would be funny to have Elivia "ride" on Annie's back, and Mommy thought that it was pretty cute until Annie turned her head back and licked her face!!! Yuck! I don't like doggy kisses!

Ok so now we are up to date!

These pictures were taken this morning. One right after the other. She has so many faces!

She is alwaya giving me such cute smiles in the morning so I went and grabbed the camera and I snapped the first smile and then she noticed the camera and gave this grumpy face, like "Mom I'm not even dressed yet! I'm still in my pajamas!!" lol she is so stinkin cute!!It looks like she is laughing out loud for this one, but unfortunately there was no sound... :( But still oh so cute! :)"Ok Mom, I'm tired of taking pictures now!"
Well, hope you all enjoy!

Elivia Dianne's first week of life!

Ok, so first off I am dedicating this blog to my dear friend Rachel who has been bugging me.......ever so kindly..... :) to start a blog.

So, most of you know that my baby girl was born on January 8, 2009. She weighed in at 8 lbs 5 oz and was 19 1/2 inches long. I didn't think that I had it in me to have an 8 lb baby but here she is. The first thing that my mom said when the doctor put Elivia on my tummy was "Oooh! She's chunky!!" That was said with as much love and excitement as a 'first grandma' could possibly muster up!

This picture is so stinkin cute! Her hand is so tiny compared to daddy's thumb! And she is peeking with one eye open!

This is Elivia's sweet little head in one of mommy's hands and one of daddy's hands! To me it says "Born in a loving and eternal family"

This was just a few of hundreds and hundreds of pictures that were taken in her first week of life thanks to Auntie Em and Grandma Peggy!
